The CD2M3U application was designed to be a small command line utility to scan CD-ROM`s (or floppy disks, hard drives, local network connections, or any removable media) to find MP3 files.
After scanning, CD2M3U automatically creates an M3U playlist file in your TEMP directory and optionally plays the playlist if you have an MP3 player application installed on your system.
Usage:
CD2M3U name_of_list drive_letter -play

This is version 1.0 Beta 1 of this utility. I still have some things to add. I`ll be adding features such as:
-Program integration.
-A visual sorter of list entries.
-An application menu so you can start/stop the scan from the keyboard.
-Ability to play a list created with a CD2M3U(or other MP3 player) in your sound card.
-Ability to create a text file to control the scan based on what you find.
-Ability to add to the list based on Playlist name (in playlist file).
-Ability to create a HTML file to display the list.
-Ability to limit the output of the scan to M3U files (only the CD-ROM`s audio).
-And that`s it for now. I`ll be updating this page in the near future. And hopefully this utility will make your life a bit easier as you search for or just listen to your music on your desktop or your friend`s PC.
